Radio & Television Licenses issued by CCK,Communication Commission of Kenya, the Radio & TV authority recalled.

Sources close to our Radio & TV desk inform us that CCK has recalled licenses issued to parties that have been dormant since winning the licenses.

We have contacted CCK and are awaiting confirmation from them if that is the case.

If it is we fully support it and feel it is timely and justified. There are many passionate Media people who have been on the waiting list at CCK for licenses to run Radio & TV programming in Kenya, but due to the unavailibility of Frequencies as a result of this stalemate of people hoarding licenses and not knowing what to do with them, the genuine applicants have been left in the cold.

let us all hope that licenses will now be made available to passionate broadcast qualified people who were left out before.
