RAMSOH aka Ramadhan Hassan was born on February 1986 in Singida Town, Tanzania, East Africa. Currently a Business Student in Nairobi, Ramsoh’s interest in music, like many Artistes, started in his early years. It was not until the year 2003, that he took a serious approach to it and joined SESMO Records where he recorded two singles. However, they did not create an impact on the Kenyan music industry.

MARSH P, aka Joseph Maroa, was born on March 1987 in Tarime Town, on the Kenya/Tanzania border and is currently a Media Student in Nairobi.

Ramsoh and Marsh P first met in August 2005 in a Group made up of Upcoming Talent, in the hood of Zimmerman Estate, in the outskirts of the City of Nairobi, called DOWNSQUAD. Before that, Marsh P was in a group called Clan P where things didn’t work out quite well after their single ‘Rusha Mikono Hewani’ failed in the local charts.

In the early part of 2006, as a member of DOWNSQUAD, Marsh P featured in 5 tracks in an Album that was produced at Exclusive Records.  He also featured in Tony Craft’s album doing two tracks in the album ‘GIRLFRIEND’ released in the same year.

In March 2006, both Artistes still associated with the Group DOWNSQUAD, found themselves in the middle of internal differences amongst the Group members; as a result the two became close in their thinking and ambitions. Later that year they were featured in yet another Track by upcoming Artiste, Kush.

In this collaboration Ramsoh did a chorus and Rap with Marsh P. This was done at Exclusive Records. From then on the duo decided to work together and this they did under already established Superstar Vinnie Banton.

Currently working on their new album, ‘Jeraha La Mapenzi’, meaning ‘The Pain of Love’, in Kiswahili, talks on the reality of ‘Love’. The album features eight wonderful tracks that are sure to go to the Top of the charts.

The single preceding the Album release is due out very soon, titled ‘Nakuita Mtoto Mzuri’, translated the ‘I’m calling you, Cute One’. We should be dancing and singing to this hot release anytime now.
