What’ a Chiwawa, I guess it does not need any detailing. Our featured ‘Artiste’ on this page is Chiwawa, Rap Artiste Extra Ordinary. The genius who recorded his first Rap Single in 2003 at Bazeline Studios, Nairobi, and has featured in various compilations released in Kenya and the rest of the East African Region. The first was Hip Hop Volume 1 that featured Artistes, Bamboo, Nanomma and D Attitude who is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. In December 2006, Chiwawa, released a compilation of Tracks that he put together since he started his Musical career, way back in 2003, in the Album ‘HITZ’. The Album featured Tracks like ‘2050’, ‘Basi Basi’, and many more that are enjoying great ‘Air Play’ on both Radio and Television in the East African region and parts of Africa.He has always been available to work in joint projects with fellow mainstream Artistes and here he has excelled tremendously. This has greatly boosted his career and image hence the massive audience response he enjoys. He has just been honoured with an Award, ‘Fast Rising Star’ at the prestigious, ‘Chaguo La Teeniez Award’, ‘CHAT’ held at the world famous Intentional Conference Centre, Kenyatta Conference Centre, Nairobi, Kenya, on the 14th of April 2007.His talent has put him on his way to a flourishing music career as he recently signed a recording deal with Sneed Music & Entertainment Company that would see him release his Album this August 2007.
